Birds, Wildlife & the Earth... Photographs, Paintings & Books

We paint, write about and photograph birds, wildlife and all the living earth with the hopes of increasing connection to and love for all the natural world.

We have a new wonderfully illustrated book born from this hope - Golden Aspens Silver Wings Our Shared Fragile Earth, Poems by Sandra Seth and Illustrations by Valerie Graves, copyright 2025, published by Linebreak Works.

The 2026 New Mexico Book Awards were announced Oct 9, 2026, and we are very excited and honored that our book received an Award in each of the three  categories entered - Finalist in: Poetry; Finalist in: Nature / Environment / Animals / Pets; WINNER in:Cover Design (Larger Than 6x9)

Thank you to all who came to the celebration party and book signing at the Wilder Nightingale Fine Art Gallery, numerous years chosen as the best gallery in Taos. Thanks so much to Rob Nightingale for the great party and his kindness.

Collected Works Bookstore, Santa Fe's oldest and best locally-owned independent bookstore for 47 years had a fantastic Event especially for the book. It was also streamed live and is on their website. Their Events are renowned, and the bookstore has been Santa Fe's Number 1 choice or Best Bookstore for 17 years running. Thank you Dorothy Massey and Cecile Lipworth.

"To have compassion and respect for every living thing on this fragile and beautiful earth which we share is the most important thing we can do."
